$500 in the Fiction Festival Writing Contest
Enter the Fiction Festival writing contests.
Submit your short story, poetry, novella, or children's story, and compete for cash prizes
and opportunities to get published. The
top selected entries from each contest will
be published. All genres including fiction,
SciFi or science fiction, horror, mystery, romance,
and more are accepted.
The
Fiction Festival writing contests are a great
opportunity to get your writing published and
become discovered. Not only do the top
selected entries in each category get their
entry published in the annual anthology, the
winners also receive special consideration for
publication of their future writing.
There
are four different writing contests:
The short story writing contest is for authors
of all genres and for short stories up to 20,000
words.
Poets may enter the poetry contest with a single
poem or with a collection of up to ten poems
per entry.
Authors and illustrators may enter the children's
story writing contest with a short children's
story. Inclusion of illustrations is optional,
but pictures tell a story of their own.
And for authors who have a bigger story to tell,
there is the novel & novella writing contest.
There
is no restriction on the number of times an
author may enter any or all of the writing contests.
April 30th, 2004 is the deadline to enter the
contests. All entries must be postmarked
by this date. Winners will be announced
in July. Don't miss this great opportunity!
